ScrapeTec: New mission in Israel

ScrapeTec Trading GmbH from Kamp-Lintfort in Germany proudly accepted the invitation to Israel in July of this year. The new partner there, S.F.I. (Solutions for Industry) had invited. This was not preceded by an enquiry, as is usual, but by an order. S.F.I. had ordered PrimeTracker belt alignment product for their customer ICL – a world-renowned company that is responsible for 35% of the world’s bromine production. ScrapeTec sales manager Thorsten Koth was invited to a tour in Israel after intensive consultations on the order, during a visit of the ICL plant “Dead Sea Works” at the Dead Sea, where the ScrapeTec products are already in use. The decision in favor of PrimeTracker is based on the strategy to reduce dust and spillage in the future in order to secure investments in the conveyor systems in the long term. Through several videos on the Internet and reports in worldwide specialist magazines, attention was drawn to the effective and economical way in which ScrapeTec products work. Not least because of convincing references such as Codelco in Chile, which after successful test runs with the dust protection solutions from ScrapeTec now gradually want to equip several plants in South America with them. The tour in Israel also included visits to sites of other customers of the partner S.F.I., including a CEMEX factory. CEMEX, the German cement specialists are also deployed around the world – as well as ScrapeTec. It is amazing that CEMEX managers in Israel are now discovering the ScrapeTec dust protection system, which has a growing international clientele. In Germany, on the other hand, demand is rather reserved. Overall, Thorsten Koth from ScrapeTec sees the trip to Israel as very positive: “It makes you proud when a specific demand for our products suddenly arises in Israel without direct acquisition. We seem to be getting more and more international and are looking forward to the positive perspectives in Israel”.
